SANGRIA + SNACKS
Poured the moment you walk in, with plates going round all evening.
BEGINS IN JAIPUR · 18 NOVEMBER
Starts at 7, ends at 3.
Not a room to wander through,
a night to get lost in.
Seven Chairs is an event operated and managed by DemiGod House LLP.
Dating apps give you a thousand matches.
Not a room to wander through.
A night to get lost in.
Music, low light, a bar that stays open and counters cooking until late. Several domes, seven chairs, one very large floor, and not a single instruction about where you should be standing.
Most of the room does, which is exactly why nobody finds it strange. Here is how the first few minutes go, from the car park to the moment you stop thinking about it.
Number plate noted, car checked in. Nothing else to sort.
Pass out, ID out, done. Nobody makes an announcement about you.
Someone whose whole job is making sure you are not standing on your own at 7:40.
Something in your hand within a minute. It helps more than it should.
Counters are the easiest place to start. Food gives everybody something to say.
Somebody asks what you are eating. That is a conversation. You are in.
Stay an hour, stay until three, or leave at ten without explaining. Your night.
STAGE 01 OF 07
YOU PULL IN
Number plate noted, car checked in. Nothing else to sort.
Nobody is seated, nobody is sent anywhere and nobody has a route. Walk up to whoever you want to meet, stay as long as it is good, and move on whenever you feel like it. Or don’t.
Nobody is seated. Nobody is sent anywhere. Nobody is counting.
The night travels, and it changes with every city: its own date, its own chapter, its own kitchens, and its own moment when everybody suddenly relaxes.
Our first Seven Chairs night begins in Jaipur on 18 November. The season closes in Pune on 30 December.

SEE THIS CITY
You are not buying a seat at a table. You are buying the whole floor for the night: the food, the bar, the music, the people, and everything that happens in between.
Poured the moment you walk in, with plates going round all evening.
A full live set on a real stage, somewhere in the middle of the night.
Every pass is an entry into the draw for trips for two to Paris and Port Blair.
The dance floor opens around eleven and stays open until the lights come up.
Eight hours, and how you spend them is entirely up to you.
One venue, several atmospheres. A loud dome and a quiet one, a kitchen from somewhere else entirely, and counters cooking in front of you all night. Walk between them as often as you like. That is what they are for.
The DJ, the lights and the floor that fills up around eleven and never quite empties.
Global counters cooking in front of you, and somewhere to sit while you eat.
Low light, low volume, and the conversations that need to hear themselves.
Somebody is cooking in front of you all night, and the queue at a counter is where a lot of the night’s conversations start. Nobody has ever needed an opening line while holding a plate.
Folded in front of you. Chopsticks are a social skill, and everybody fumbles at first.
Carbs, chemistry, and a plate slow enough that you have to talk to whoever is waiting.
Salsas ranked by how much you are willing to suffer. Napkins provided, dignity not guaranteed.
Arrives sizzling with the sides in the middle, made for sharing across the table with someone new.
One plate at a time, at a counter you sit at. Where the quiet conversations happen.
Vegetarian options run at every counter all night. Tell us about any allergy when you book, and the kitchens will have it before the doors open. There is a full bar, Sangria with every pass, and an à la carte menu until close.
WHICH KITCHEN, WHICH CITYTHE UNANNOUNCED BIT
Your favourite trending star could be walking in.
You won’t know until the night does.
Nothing is announced before the night: no names, no teasers, no promises. Just a set the whole room hears for the first time, together.
The room does not stay the same shape for eight hours. It gets louder, then it gets honest, then it stops checking the time. Some people dance, some keep talking through it, and nobody is ever made to choose.
Early people get the good spots and a host with nothing else to do yet.
Nobody is introducing themselves any more. The volume goes up on its own.
The DJ takes it. Half the room dances, half keeps talking through it. Both correct.
The hour when conversations stop being small talk. This is the good part.
Somebody suggests breakfast. Somebody always does.
Somewhere in the middle of all that, a live set by a name nobody announced.
Five chapters. Each city night runs one of them, which changes the kitchens, the light and the tempo, but never the promises. Pick a chapter or pick a date: it is the same decision either way.
MEET THE CHAPTERSDELHI · 25 NOV PUNE · 30 DEC
LUCK, LANTERNS, LITTLE RISKS
Dumplings, dim sum and a little luck. The warmest of the five, and the easiest one to walk into on your own.
JAIPUR · 18 NOV CHANDIGARH · 16 DEC
CANDLELIGHT, CARBS, CHEMISTRY
Fresh pasta, warm plates, slower conversations. The chapter for staying a good deal longer than you planned to.
MUMBAI · 2 DEC
HEAT, MUSIC, MOVEMENT
Tacos, rhythm and a room that gets louder together. The loudest of the five, and the one people dance at earliest.
HYDERABAD · 23 DEC
SHARED PLATES, DEEPER TALKS
Sizzling plates, shared sides, low-lit tables. Built for the conversations that refuse to wrap up.
BANGALORE · 9 DEC
SMALL PLATES, SHARP CHEMISTRY
Clean lines, small plates, a quieter room. Where one good conversation can become the whole night.
The name is not a seating plan. It is a list of seven things this night owes you, and the first two are the reason the whole thing exists.
Nobody rings a bell. Talk for five minutes or five hours; that is entirely between the two of you.
Seven chairs, and every one of them is a choice. Walk up to whoever you actually want to meet.
Sangria on arrival, snacks all evening and live counters running until late.
A DJ until three, and one live set by a name nobody is told in advance.
No photograph of you leaves this floor unless you said yes out loud. That is the whole rule.
Licensed security, name-checked entry and hosts on the floor from the first guest to the last.
Find someone worth remembering, drop both names in the box by the bar, and you could be flying to Paris or Port Blair.
Come to talk. Come to dance. Come to leave at ten without explaining yourself to anybody. It is still your night, and nothing on this floor gets to decide that for you.
Every rule below exists because somebody, somewhere, had a bad night out. We would rather be boring about this than sorry about it.
THE FULL HOUSE RULESTrained, licensed door and floor security all night. Uniformed outside, discreet inside.
Name-checked against the pass list, photo ID every time. No plus-ones at the door.
Hosts work the room all night. They are easy to spot, and there the moment you raise a hand.
Any guest can end any conversation at any moment. No reason needed, given or recorded.
Nobody is touched, followed or photographed without a yes. Anyone who ignores that is asked to leave.
Guest details are never public. Other guests see only the essentials, and nothing else leaves our list.
A verified cab or a valet drop from the desk, with the number plate noted. A host will walk you out if you like.
Eighteen and over, photo ID at the door, every time. Nobody is inside who should not be.
You can skip any question you would rather not answer.
A week before the night, you receive a PDF introducing the people you are going to meet: their occupation, their age and a short paragraph about each of them. The night before, you get to see who else is coming.
The people you are
going to meet.
Will judge your café choice, lovingly. Spends weekends sketching buildings nobody else notices, and has strong opinions about where the light should fall in a room.
Cannot sit still while talking. Runs a small studio, teaches on Sundays, and will probably leave the night having promised somebody a mug.
Has opinions about the counters and no plan to keep them quiet. Happiest feeding a table of strangers and finding out what they would cook for him.
You answer a few questions, and we turn them into a short introduction in the PDF that goes to guests of your night, a week before. Nothing about you ever goes on this website.
Privacy is a high priority.
In the introductions PDF for your night, and nowhere else.
Not in the PDF, not on the site, not at the door.
A little chit-chat, a pen on the box, and introductions you’ll actually remember.
BUILD YOUR PROFILEFind a connection worth remembering. Write both names on a chit, drop it in the box by the bar, and a Wednesday night could turn into a departure gate.

HOW TO ENTER
Somebody you would actually text tomorrow. That is the only qualification there is.
A chit and a pen sit on the box. It takes ten seconds, and there is no form anywhere.
The box stands by the bar, in the open, all night. Drawn before the last hour.
A chance, not a promise. One chit per connection, drawn in front of the room, because a draw nobody watches isn’t a draw. Full terms, eligibility and trip details are sent with your pass and posted at the door, and nothing about the trips is final until it is confirmed in writing.
LUCKY DRAW TERMSTHE LUCKY DRAW BOX · BY THE BAR
A few questions, one at a time, and none of them feels like a form. What comes out is a short paragraph about how you are in a room: not a rating, not a type, not a result. It becomes your introduction in the PDF for your night, and nothing else about you ever leaves this site.
None of it is about how you look.
You can skip any question you would rather not answer.
WORDS YOU PICK YOURSELF · NOT AN ASSESSMENT OF ANYBODY
BUILD YOUR PROFILECome single. Come with four friends and lose them by nine. Come having never done anything like this, with no intention of pretending otherwise. If you are here to meet people, and you are decent to the people you meet, you are our guest.
Passes are sold as women’s and men’s passes because we hold the room balance at the door. If neither of those describes you, write to us and we will sort your pass out by hand. A real person answers, not a form.
WRITE TO THE DOORThe Sangria, the counters, the music, the hosts, the security and your lucky draw entry are all paid for by the time you walk in. Every pass is for one person.

SECURE ONLINE PAYMENT
Only the profiling fee of ₹500 is payable now. The remaining event/pass payment will be collected later. Pay through Razorpay with UPI, card or netbanking. Inclusive of all taxes.
Payments for Seven Chairs are received by DemiGod House LLP, the legal entity that operates and manages the event. Razorpay processes them into an account registered to DemiGod House LLP, which is why that name appears in the payment window and on your receipt.
Because a balanced room is the entire product. We sell passes in matched numbers so the floor never tilts one way, and pricing is how we hold that line as the lists fill up at different speeds.
It is not a judgement about anybody in the room. It is arithmetic about a room.
Every pass is priced per person. The ₹500 profiling fee is charged once per person and shown next to every price. It is the only amount payable now, and it pays for the questions, the balancing of the guest list and the PDF that introduces the people you are going to meet. The remaining event/pass payment will be collected later. All prices are inclusive of all taxes.
Not included: the à la carte menu (ordered on the night and charged to your table), the valet drop home (bookable at the desk) and getting yourself to the city. Full refund up to 72 hours before doors; after that, one free transfer to any future night in any city.
8HOURS
Every one of us had the same two evenings on repeat. The one where you go out, talk to nobody and come home having scrolled. And the one where you finally meet somebody interesting and a timer goes off.
So we built the third evening. Good food, good music, a door that is actually watched, and nothing in the room with a timer on it.
You can find a thousand people and still have nowhere to actually meet one of them.
Whether you like somebody gets decided in the first minute of talking, not the first second of looking.
Anything that tells you a good conversation is over has misunderstood the assignment.
Who is in the room, and who is watching it, matters more than anything on the menu.
Names and faces go up before our first night in Jaipur. Until then, WhatsApp is the front door, answered by the same people who will be standing at the real one.
